The IMSAI 8080 was the infamous clone of the original homebrew micro computer to use the Intel 8080 CPU, the Altair 8800. Though in many ways the IMSAI 8080 was a significant improvement on the Altair though with far better build quality and component use. It is most fondly remembered from the movie WarGames which is where most people would recognise its red and blue toggle switches from. This particular unit most recently came from Singapore where after traveling in several places around SE Asia from its previous owner. It requires a 110v power source to operate, countries such as Australia will require a 240V to 110V step down transformer. The computer does power on, we have been able toggle through examining the addresses and also loading the popular Chase the lights program through keying it in on the front panel which was successful.
