COMMEMORATIVE FIRST DAY COVER 1946 VICTORY ISSUE. The FDC carries both stamps issued to commemorate victory after WWII and features the'V for Victory' sign. The cover also carries a'Don't Waste Bread - Others Need It' slogan. The stamps have been cancelled with a CDS at Southampton on the first day of issue, 11th June 1946. The cover addressed to Southampton.

The envelope has remained unsealed. I shall leave the images to complete my description and welcome all questions.
